At indie, we strive to identify our customers’ current and future needs across all our technology domains—including semiconductors, photonics, software, and sensor systems. We focus on continuous improvement to achieve zero defects in our solutions. To that end, we have developed a robust quality management system and adhere to high-quality standards in every facet of our product development cycle.

Through our long-standing commitment to quality and due diligence, indie has maintained ISO 9001 certification across its sites for many years and has achieved ISO 26262:2018 Functional Safety certification. For its automotive products, indie operates as a fabless company and is therefore not eligible for IATF 16949:2016 certification. Nevertheless, in 2022 and 2025, an IATF 16949 gap analysis and Stage 1 audit were conducted by BSI, a third-party certification body, on the processes within indie’s Quality Management System (QMS) and was successfully passed.
